The Value of Family & Friends while Single / Dating

How important are the family and friends around you while single or dating? Family and friends are a major part of our lives, but depending upon your community (family and friends) and their influence, it will determine whether their impact is positive or negative. Hopefully, you are mindful to surround yourself with positive people. The point of this episode is to talk about how the right type of community will help your relationship for the positive. When people are single their community is a natural part of their lives, but as people begin to date or become married it becomes much harder to maintain those connections consistently. As a result many of the challenges people face in singleness and dating, they do alone. God doesn’t want you to be alone in your challenges. We need community to help us when we are most vulnerable. In some cases the right type of friends can even keep you from relationship pitfalls before they happen. This podcast will be a two part series where we will discuss the importance of family and friends around you while single or dating. Then in part two we’ll discuss their impact while married.
