The Value of Patience and Kindness: 5 Characteristics of Maturity

It seems often times we are swimming upstream in life. Constant challenges, assignments, work - and some of it we'd rather not do, but we accept it since we know most of it is required in order for us to move forward towards a particular goal.  We fight many emotions and feelings that endanger the road to spiritual maturity. Like the seed sown on rocky soil, if we are not deeply rooted in our faith, the scorching heat of worldliness will wither away our faith. This is a major stumbling block to becoming mature.
