The Veil: Christ Our Pathway

The Veil was made of scarlet, blue, purple, and fine linen with depictions of cherubim intricately woven in its tapestry. It hung ominously, preventing anyone from entering the Holy of holies-except the high priest once a year. Israel amplified God's design to a four-inch thickness when they made the Temple Veil, insuring no unworthy person had access to the presence of a thrice-holy God. Then the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world was born of a virgin, lived a perfectly virtuous life, and died a vicarious death for all humanity. And the veil was rent in two-opening THE path to God-once and for all! Now all who are cleansed by the blood of the Jesus Christ are beckoned to "come boldly to the throne of grace." Have you?
