The Vichy Regime: France's Darkest Hour

In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore the shameful years of the Vichy Regime, from the armistice of 1940 to the Liberation. They examine Philippe Pétain's collaborationist government, the National Revolution, the Milice, and the roundup of Jews at the Vélodrome d'Hiver. The episode delves into the zone libre, the armistice army, and the resistance movements that fought back. It also covers the épuration sauvage after the war and the legacy of division that still haunts France.
