The Visible Decline and Disinhibition of Donald Trump

from The World Between Us · host Norse Studio

Donald Trump is exhibiting severe signs of physical and cognitive deterioration, marked by frequent episodes of exhaustion, disinhibition, and confusion. His physical health is in question, especially as he has seemingly concealed the schedule for his annual physical examination, which was expected following his last reported semi-annual physical in October 2025.A prominent symptom of this decline is his inability to stay awake during official duties. He has repeatedly fallen asleep during cabinet meetings and press conferences, including a recent Oval Office event regarding prescription drug prices. In another instance involving a group of young girls, he fell asleep and reportedly emitted a foul odor that disgusted those around him. Reports of him passing gas and emitting a putrid smell have been a recurring issue, tracing back to his criminal trial where the scent reportedly repulsed his own lawyers, and during a December 2024 appearance at the Notre Dame Cathedral where attendees actively avoided him.In addition to physical exhaustion, there are alarming instances of extreme disinhibition—a symptom often associated with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. After jolting awake during a recent press conference, he openly declared his need to defecate. He frequently lashes out at journalists, recently calling a reporter a "disgrace" for asking a basic question about the duration of an ongoing war, and has previously yelled at reporters, calling them "piggy". Furthermore, he repeatedly makes overtly racist remarks on social media, attacking prominent Black leaders and figures, such as Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, by labeling them as "low IQ".Cognitive decline and detachment from reality are also evident in his increasingly bizarre claims. He recently fabricated a detailed, entirely fictitious story about personally negotiating the release of eight young girls facing execution in Iran. He also openly struggled with basic math, agreeing with individuals who incorrectly claimed that prescription drug prices could drop by "600%". His behavior regarding international engagements is erratic; he gave deeply confused and contradictory statements about whether Russian President Vladimir Putin was invited to the upcoming G20 summit in Miami, and he was recorded inappropriately spraying perfume on foreign leaders. In terms of military policy, he has demanded the Navy bring back World War I-style battleships over modern stealth ships, simply because he prefers their aesthetic appearance. This cognitive and physical decline is reportedly being masked by enablers who surround him. The current situation draws strong comparisons to his father, Fred Trump, who suffered from severe Alzheimer's; during his decline, the family reportedly set up a fake office and simulated a workday to pacify him as his condition worsened. With severe Alzheimer's running in his family and historically accelerating around his exact current age, these compounding episodes of uncontrollable exhaustion, hostile disinhibition, and fabricated realities point to a significantly worsening condition.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-world-between-us--6886561/support.
