Her organization also empowers volunteers to serve as extended family to these youth, nurturing a Christ-centered community. Looking ahead, Anita is shifting her focus to advocate for small and minority farmers, aiming to address disparities in agricultural funding and promote healthy, sustainable food sources. She encourages urban and small-scale farming as a way to reconnect with the land and support vulnerable communities.
