On this week's Voice of Louisiana Agriculture Podcast, we look at the latest news headlines and talk to Louisiana State Statistician Kathy Broussard about the importance of participating in the Census of Agriculture.  Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Mike Strain joins us for a look at the current Louisiana legislative session in our Grassroots Government Segment.  We go "In the Field" to talk with Grant Parish farmer Ryan Yerby, who is putting in long hours getting his soybean crop in the ground. We'll take an in-depth look at the grain markets with Greg Fox and Mark Tall. Then we go to the Northwest Louisiana Beef and Forage Field Day to discuss the cattle market with Dr. Derrell Peel of Oklahoma State University.
