Ep. 2 features "The Voice of the Electric Map", Dr. Marc Charisse, a multi-talented essayist, teacher, historian, humorist and tour guide who holds a Ph.D. in Communications and Law from the University of Washington. Former editor of The Hanover Evening Sun for nine years, Marc also was managing editor of the York Dispatch when the latter won a slew of awards for its reporting on the Uprisings of York, PA in 1968 and 1969. A talented magician, Marc is a natural and charismatic storyteller and performer. The Voice of the world-famous Gettysburg Electric Map, located in the heart of HanoverLand, Marc is a compelling tour guide who, on demand, astutely tells the extraordinary sequence of the Civil War's Gettysburg Campaign, including the Battle of Hanover, the First Battle on Free Soil and an important prelude to the Battle of Gettysburg.
