Have you ever hit the snooze button on your alarm, thinking, "I just need nine more minutes" and then woke up an hour later? Of course you have. And notice: you never once decided to sleep away the whole morning. You decided on nine minutes. That's all. Just a little more sleep, and then you'd get up.Now let me ask you something that may sting a little. Is your walk with God on snooze? Not abandoned. Not denied. Just... nine more minutes. For about ten years now. This morning we meet a man exactly like that, and the first word God says to him is an alarming one: Arise.
