The Vulnerability Experiment

from The Energy Explorer · host Rachel Sims

Since being home, I’ve had so much to think about. As many of us have. Thoughts about who I am. Thoughts about how I want to move forward in my life. Thoughts about what impact I want to leave. Thoughts about life in general. I’ve thought so much about the work I do, and what it means to be a healer. I’m a master by no means, but I’ve learned a lot in the 30 years of being on earth. What feels more important than EVER, is this idea of vulnerability. Of baring all truths. Of allowing myself to be open and honest with who I am and where I’ve been. To recount and share all the wonderful things I’ve learned, but also the many struggles to get to where I am today. I want to be me. At all times in sharing my work and my life. I want to be me through the thick and the thin of it. To be honest when I don’t know something. To continually explore the depths of this world and do what I can to share it along the way. To be able to express myself, fully and wholeheartedly. Because this is what makes me human. This is what makes us human. THIS is how we heal. By learning vulnerability is how we move forward, and by speaking our truth - we allow ourselves to stand in our power. I wouldn’t be where I am today, and I wouldn’t be able to stand in my power or help others stand in their power if I didn’t start embracing some of these unknowns. The unknowns of what others will think of me by speaking my truth. The unknowns of what’s on the other side when I do finally let it out. Life is full of changes. And allowing ourselves to flow and expand through these changes is what life’s all about.
