This is our first short story as part of the Waterloo Festival online. ​ Waterloo Festival is an annual celebration of arts, community and heritage in the artistic heart of London.  We will run a series of Waterloo-based stories over May and June so please subscribe to hear more. Martin Nathan has worked as a labourer, showman, pancake chef, fire technician, and a railway engineer.
