Why is it important that we have instruction in Scripture from people, like John, who personally spent time with Jesus? 2. Why is being part of a family of Jesus-followers important for the Christian life? 3. Have you ever seen a leader advocate bad behavior for a good cause or use spiritual authority to cover bad behavior? 4. John wants his friends’ life walk to match their Jesus walk.
