A couple days pass as the group waits out the snowstorm in a small hostel. They're able to find someone to drive them back to Rainy Pass so they can make-up their walk (No cheating!). Afterwards, they jump back on the road and head to Grand Coulee. While in Grand Coulee, John gets some depressing news.
