The Walker AC Experience for January 25th, 2022

In this episode, I'll be speaking with a dear friend that has a passion for creating art in his own way. A deep dive into creation, excitement, and fulfillment. Plus a little shout out to Ashley! Enjoy!   'Teaching an old dog new tricks... I started a costume and prop making business making everything by hand. It went great until I started developing arthritis in my hands and couldn't keep up the quality, so I started teaching myself 3D printing. I use Blender - a free 3D animation and object creation program - to create my files and I currently run a Creality CR-10 printer to print my own objects as well as stuff others have made.   In October of 2021, I began my YouTube channel, The Droid Workshop, to not only show my conversion of my old costume shop into a Star Wars room, but to create tutorials on crafting 3D objects, like droids from Star Wars. I have a couple done already with lots more on the way. It's just for fun...it's a passion. And while I'm not in this to make money, I am considering starting a Patreon page to help support it, because filament and other consumables aren't cheap.
