Nehemiah 1:3–4 says, “‘The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.’ So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.”God is calling us to be holy and set apart and believe Him for miracles again. The things that used to set apart the people of God from the ways of this fallen world are eroding. Maybe there are lines in your life that have become blurred, and you feel like you can't be a voice for God because of your current choices. God wants to turn your mess into a message. If we humble ourselves, pray, and ask Him for forgiveness, He promises that old things have passed away and all things are new in Christ. It's time to pray.
