The War Of The Ages

This powerful passage introduces us to the war of the ages. This war has been raging since the day Satan rebelled against God and became His archenemy. At various times this spiritual battle has made its way to the physical realm with people lining up on both sides of the battle. Ultimately, this long war is against God. While we are a part of the war, we are not the focus of the war. The war is waged against God by spiritual enemies who often use human beings to accomplish their will. So the main idea we need to understand is Satan's attacks on man flow from his rebellion against God.
