THE WAY GOD PROVIDES You’ve probably heard the phrase, “The Lord will provide.” It’s often said with hopeful assurance in moments of uncertainty—when the bills are piling up, when the job offer hasn’t come, when the path ahead looks foggy at best. But what does it truly mean when we say, “God will provide”? And how can we trust in that promise when the evidence around us seems scarce? Philippians 4:19 is one of the most comforting verses in Scripture: “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
