The Way of Jesus—Matthew 6:31–34

Pastor Joe McDonald teaches that the antidote to worry is not simply becoming calmer, but learning to trust God by seeking His kingdom and righteousness first. Using his own story of unemployment, he shows that trust is built through a relationship with Jesus, recognizing God's faithfulness in both hardships and acts of generosity, and participating in God's work of justice, compassion, and love in the world. He concludes that Jesus is the perfect model of trust, calling believers to fix their eyes on Him, pursue God's kingdom above their own, and find true life and peace in Him.
