from True Love Community Podcast · host True Love Community

Date: July 26, 2020  Passage: Rev 2:12-17  The call to be discerning of our lifestyle in the midst of a world that teaches us to conform   Theme Verse: “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death” Rev 12:11   Summary: A call to the church to persevere and live uncompromising lives against the pressure to conform to the kingdoms of their day—overcoming said kingdoms by the power of the Lamb.   Purpose: In our world we face a lot of competing “kingdoms” for our allegiance. How do we know whether we are compromising? How do we navigate a landscape that is so hostile to those who follow after Jesus?  How do we persevere and bring flourishing in this world? Book of Revelation gives us the insight to navigate and overcome as we live as aliens in this world.   To give please visit: http://thanhlechurch.org/give/   Join TLC on our social media for updates!   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TrueLoveCommunityMinistry/   Instagram: https://instagram.com/TrueLoveCommunity    #Compromise #CancelCulture #Love
