And while many wizarding families (even some on the Sacred 28 list) reject this idea as outdated and elitist, many others, like the Malfoys and the Blacks, wear their pure-blood status like a badge of honour, ensuring that their family trees remain free of Muggle influence. And the same can be said for many others on this list. But if we dissect the Sacred Twenty-Eight more closely, there's something... odd about it, and it's the fact that the Weasleys are on the list. Unlike the Malfoys, who openly embraced their pure-blood superiority, the Weasleys are known for their progressive attitudes - welcoming half-bloods, Muggle-borns, and even Muggles themselves.
