The Weather Aperture
from Wheeler & Tyler
On this deep-freeze edition of the Wheeler and Tyler Podcast, the boys are trying to survive the extreme cold snap gripping Winnipeg, though Tyler is struggling more than most with a debilitating case of chapped lips. The show dives into the "Weather Aperture" with a special appearance on The Loud Line from the show's resident weather prognosticator, who has some strong feelings about the temperature dropping to -35 C. In a heartwarming turn, Wheeler and Tyler execute a "Calling on Behalf Of" segment, where they call an unsuspecting person to give them a much-needed pat on the back based on a listener's text. The guys also break down the morning's biggest entertainment headlines, including the Oscar nomination shockers (Wicked got snubbed?), Harry Styles' new music, and the internet drama surrounding Meghan Trainor. Plus, they cover the latest Winnipeg Jets heartbreak against the Panthers, the NFL Conference Championship matchups, and a full recap of local news and sports.
