The Weather Report 001 (Legacy)

The Weather Report (Electronic Music) Podcast by Jon Salem.This first episode is a reprise of a festival mix that never happened. I was playing Drop Fest, a small time festival in Flint, Michigan, and had this track line-up ready to go for the festival with an early evening play time. There was a lack of communication on equipment specification for the opening artist and he didn't have the vinyl turntables needed to play. During the hectic point of trying to figure out what to do, I took it upon myself to take over his set time with impromptu-Tech House set using CDs so I didn't have to take the time to set up my laptop, which these tracks were only on. I subsequently told him to take my  spot to allow time to get vinyl tables secured for him. Now, 2 years after that day, the mix that never was seemed to be the perfect spot to start this new series off right.
