Bretto also checks in with Peter Rowles from C4 Conservation about Cassowary activity. Savannah In the Round convener, James Dein tells Bretto about the new line-up for October and Hugh Bohanne from the Cassowary Coast Observer lets Bretto know what's making news this week. There is a new Library Minute and Bretto talks to David Breeze of band, Blue Reed ahead of their Cairns Tropic Jazz Club Gig. John McPherson brings his piano into the studio to play a heartfelt original song for "Live and Local" and Shane Muriata gives us a preview of the week-end's local rugby league fixtures.
