The Weekly Stuff #371 – Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer Review & Discussion

After touching base on the games we’ve been playing – including the original Diablo and 2016’s Ratchet & Clank remake – and discussing this week’s Bloomberg report about a Last of Us PS5 remake and the state of Sony’s development priorities, we move on to another Weekly Suit Gundam topic, rounding out our triptych of Gundam 00 reviews with Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer, the 2010 feature-film follow-up/finale that brings a close to the world of Gundam 00 and introduces the world of Gundam to extraterrestrial life for the first time. It’s a wild, strange, defiantly singular movie, and one of the stranger corners of the Gundam universe – but also one of the most rewarding, especially when you break it down in a long-form conversation as we do here.
