The Weekly Top 3 (5.9.2022)
from The Weekly Top 3 Hosted by Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets
Welcome to The Weekly Top 3 - our look at the top 3 things on our mind here at Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets - for the week of May 9, 2022. Because of the time we spent on them, this week we only cover the first two of our Top 3 issues: 1) Michael and I discuss at length our take on the status of the budget, current through the Senate's actions on Monday (2:00); and 2) in light of what has happened this session, what the prospects are now for a long term fiscal plan (21:29). We will pick up the third topic - the current status of Santos' Pikka project and whether there's a silent "but" sitting behind their recent positive statements - next week. The Weekly Top 3 is a regular weekly segment on The Michael Dukes Show. The Show broadcasts on Facebook and YouTubeLive as well as via streaming audio from the Show’s website weekdays from 6–8am. We join Michael weekly in the first hour of Tuesday’s show, from 6:25–7am, for a discussion between the two of us about our three issues.
