The Weekly Top 3 (8.15.2022)
from The Weekly Top 3 Hosted by Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets
Welcome to The Weekly Top 3 - our look at the top 3 things on our mind here at Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets - for the week of August 15, 2022. This week our Top 3 issues are these: 1) we explain why the Walker Drygas campaign pitch that PFD cuts are "for the children" is a smokescreen (1:58), 2) we discuss the impact of the Supreme Court's decision late last week upholding the Dunleavy Administration's position on forward funding (15:24), and 3) we discuss the significant take aways for Alaska from ConocoPhillips second quarter earnings call (23:52). And then after we finished those, Michael and I had an extended discussion on today's election and the mechanics of ranked choice voting (27:03). The Weekly Top 3 is a regular weekly segment on The Michael Dukes Show. The Show broadcasts on Facebook and YouTubeLive as well as via streaming audio from the Show’s website weekdays from 6–8am. We join Michael weekly in the first hour of Tuesday’s show, from 6:25–7am, for a discussion between the two of us about our three issues.
