from The Leg Up Australia · host The Leg Up Australia

FOUR TO FOLLOW:  EVOCATOR (Rosehill R3) – Dynamic first-up win and then he had no luck here. He was slow to begin but managed to settle midfield, he got shuffled back to near last prior to the turn and didn’t have any luck in the straight. He should have finished much closer and will win more races this preparation. COSMIC MINERVA (Rosehill R4) – Dominant first-up win and then he wasn’t helped by the slow start and wide draw. He settled well back in a race that wasn’t run to suit and really hit the line late. Loved his work through the line and think he’s ready for a mile now. In for a prosperous campaign.  SPACEWALK (Rosehill R7) – A complete excuse for this bloke. He was held-up at a crucial stage in a race in which they packed up prior to the turn. He was only clear in the final furlong and couldn’t have done much more than he did, producing the second-best last 200m of the day. The quinella weren’t stopping, producing the third best and seventh best final furlongs of the day respectively, so he was never a winning chance.  SNAPPED (Rosehill R10) – She should have won easily. She got shuffled back 650m from home when the winner laid in and she touched the fence, losing a couple of length abruptly. She was then held-up at a crucial stage and in limited room late. No luck at all.  SPECIAL MENTIONS: General Salute (Rosehill R1), Monfelicity (Rosehill R9), Jewellery (Rosehill R10).Support the show Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
