The White Company Chapter 26 - How the Three Comrades Gained a Mighty Treasure

In which three comrades set forth through the wintery vineyards and bare plains of Guienne, encountering quaint villages, a somber churchyard, and a curious blind pilgrim claiming to sell holy relics of immeasurable value. Their pious reverence soon gives way to dismay when the relics are revealed to be a cunning fraud, leaving them both poorer in purse and in trust.
