The Whole Pie

Many of us may feel helpless in the face of the world's current state of affairs--not sure how we can make a meaningful impact or affect change. In this week's episode, I share some ancient feminine archetypes and images that can be useful for re-membering our nature. As the Divine "greening" principle described in detail by Saint Hildegard of Bingen, the 12th century mystic, provides a look at our nature, as part of nature, that can allow us transmute the wounds of our soul and the world's soul, represented in a second archetype in the fairytale of "Handless Maiden." I weave these images together, as a way of reorientation, to recalibrate ourselves to a more accurate and life serving vision of life, to self and relationship to other. Ultimately, these images can support us individually and collectively, to come more fully online, to shift individual perspective through one's internal experience, that can ultimately allow each of us to claim the "whole pie" of our existence, instead of settling for a slice here and there.
