We spent a lot of time talking about one of my favorite Reston events, the Cardboard Boat Regatta. Kurt shared details of the race from how it got started, to the expertise it takes to build a boat, and how the whole community gets involved. This event is special to me because of the joy it brings my youngest sister, Amanda who has been a participant in the last 2 years.
