The Wild Cards Make Some Noise

Welcome to The Wild Card Podcast!  This is episode 113 of our attempt at this whole podcasting thing!! Today's episode features: Jared Eaton tearing an apple apart with his bare hands, Jeff Curtis doing Baseball, and Ron Blair eating most of the props! Throughout the episode, you'll hear the three of us discuss such varied topics as: the way this podcast is about an hour and a half long, our favorite pets, what foods we would want if we were marooned on a deserted island, an a'door'ably explosive commercial, those times in life when you've just got to step on some spiders, and occasionally we part from our tangents to learn about the life and work of Jack Foley! This week, Jeff introduces us to the man who originated sound effects in film and radio.  We look at his professional career, many of the tricks of the trade, attempt to make some sound effects of our own, and oh so much more.
