This week Angelina and Ann-Marie discuss their experiences as full-time caregivers for children with special needs. They talk about their makeshift recording studio in the laundry room and the challenges of doing laundry!! They also discuss the process of opening a bank account for their children with disabilities and the importance of future-proofing and financial planning. They mention the need for adult supervision and control over the account, as well as the importance of making a will, setting up a trust to protect their children's inheritance and disability allowances and choosing guardians for their children. The conversation descends into fits of giggles as Ann-Marie imagines herself as Casper, the friendly ghost overseeing the care of her child on her death and Angelina becoming a poltergeist haunting all around her!!
