The leak alleges that some components within the drone boat fleet are made in China, and actually "phone home" to data centers back in China. The city of Cali was hardest hit, with many structures collapsing or otherwise suffering major damage. So far, roughly 20x fatalities have been reported outright, but the true scale of the damage will take some time to determine due to the remote nature of many affected villages.
