The Wisdom of What Matters Most

Busyness can look faithful while pulling attention from what matters most. Mary sits at Jesus' feet and receives His words, while Martha's good service becomes tangled with anxiety and resentment towards her sister. Jesus does not reject service. He teaches that wise service begins by listening to Him, then shapes hard choices, care for children, and love for difficult neighbours.
