The Wise Old Gander | Animal Stories

In this story, farm animals are being preyed upon by a fox due to their neglectful owner. Worried, they turn to the Wise Old Gander for a solution. Although he initially seems indecisive, the Gander cleverly consults various other animals (pig, donkey, cow, cat, dog), each boasting they alone can scare the fox away. Realizing that individual efforts are insufficient but combined action might work, the Gander organizes all the animals to hide and then simultaneously make their noises (barking, braying, mooing, squealing, quacking, crowing, yowling) and attack when the fox arrives.
