On Episode 9 of the WNL SHOW we’ve another packed show for you as we will hear from five managers and coaches as well as three players are last week League Cup semi-finals and FAI Cup quarter finals. First we turn the clock back to last Wednesday in Greenogue when I caught up with James O’Callaghan and Amber Barrett after their 3-0 League cup semi-final victory against UCD Waves. Next I’ll be joined by Shelbourne Ladies Gordon Ewing who discusses there 2-0 win against Galway in the FAI Cup. Also joining me is Galway skipper Meabh De Burca who looks ahead to the upcoming Shield final as well as reflecting on the defeat to Shelbourne. In addition to De Burca I also spoke with Galway boss Billy Cleary who explained he felt he set his side up wrong early on against Shels while he also looks ahead to the UCD Game which he’ll have to plan without his Ireland under 19 internationals. Finally on Sunday after UCD Waves defeat of Kilkenny United I spoke to a disappointed Kilkenny boss Casey McQuillan, his opposite number Noel Kealy as well as Aine O’Gorman who looked ahead to Ireland’s clash with Northern Ireland on Tuesday September 19th.
