The Woke and Sensitive Restaurant Owners Refuse Service to Police Officers

from Hector And Mike Experience - Common Sense In An Uncommon World · host Hector and Mike Experience

The Hilda and Jesse restaurant in San Francisco asked three uniform officers to leave because some employees were uncomfortable because they were armed. Then they went online to brag about it, saying that their restaurant was a “safe place.” Here is where the hypocrisy kicks in: Once the online firestorm erupted, the owners, Rachel Sillcocks and Kristina Liedags Compton, apologized, saying, “We hope this will be a teachable moment for us as we repair and continue to build bridges with the SFPD.” The officers carry firearms for their protection and the public. They are on the frontlines. The woke, safe place and hurt feelings in our society have gotten way out of hand. We have some California schools ditching D and F grades. California is now looking to institute Woke Math in the name of equity and make sure some students don’t feel left out or less because some students take advanced/gifted math courses. We all have skills sets, and our educational system helps foster them. Once we find something we are passionate about, then maximize it. But why is our society creating so many “safe places” for people at the expense of others?
