The Woman Who Mapped the Dead Ends on Frost Road

from Streetlight Burials — Fexingo Horror · host Fexingo

In the fall of 2019, a cartographer named Elara Vance moved to the small town of Millbrook, Vermont, to finish her atlas of the region. She became obsessed with a dead-end road called Frost Road—a cul-de-sac that appeared on every map but seemed to lead nowhere. When she walked it, she found a row of mailboxes, each with a name she recognized from the town's old cemetery. The last mailbox bore her own name. As winter closed in, she kept walking the road, and the mailboxes kept appearing, each one a little closer to her house. By December, she stopped going out. The last time I saw her, she was standing at her window, whispering names into the dark. This is what she told me before she stopped speaking altogether. #FrostRoad #MillbrookVermont #ElaraVance #Cartographer #DeadEndRoad #Mailboxes #Cemetery #Names #October2019 #Winter #GhostTown #Mapping #Obsession #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #StreetlightBurials #AtmosphericHorror #SlowBurn Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
