Soraya M. Deen is a Muslim feminist, lawyer, author, founder of the Muslim Women Speakers. She is an award-winning international interfaith activist, community organizer and motivational speaker.Soraya is the coordinator of Women’s Initiatives at Omnia Leadership. She blends her legal expertise of over a decade with her uniquely diverse background to inspire people to navigate conflict and promote peace. A native of Sri Lanka she developed a deep commitment and love, to learning and practicing the Eastern philosophy of SEVA and SIMRAN. The invitation put forth at the Interview Suite was:  Let Your Voice be Heard! In total, I interviewed 71 women. I was truly fortunate to sit with women as they spoke so profoundly from their hearts about their faith-in-action toward the Parliament's themes of:  a call to conscience, the support of the human rights and dignity of women, and the care of the next generations of children (which, of course includes care of our earth).
