The Wonder Years: S1E2 The Green Eyed Monster and S1E3 The Club

Happy Wonder Wednesday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host Looking Back On My Wonder Years: A Wonder Years Podcast. Today I'm covering S1E2: Green Eyed Monster which aired on September 29, 2021. In this episode while Dean reckons with his first taste of heartbreak and betrayal, the adults in his life are overly empathetic and assume his grief is from mourning current events. and S1E3: The Club, which aired on October 6, 2021. In this episode when Dean stumbles upon some racy literature and shares it with friends at school, Bill and Lillian must navigate uncharted territory as parents. I enjoyed both these episodes as we see the character of Dean develop and grow a little more and face new challenges, but if I had to choose my favorite of the two, I'd pick The Club, because it was hilarious and at the same time thought provoking when it comes to talking to your children about S.E.X. and all the confusion and awkwardness that comes with it. In this episode Dean heads to band practice with Bill, but the grown folks' business at the music studio prompts Lillian to pick Dean up; Dean learns what his mum does while he's at school all day.
