The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Chapter 19 - Attacked by the Fighting Trees

In which our intrepid friends bid farewell to the enchanting Emerald City and set forth towards the southern lands, only to be waylaid by strange, battling trees whose branches seek to hinder their passage. With steadfast courage and the Tin Woodman’s sharp axe, they overcome these arboreal guardians, only to encounter a smooth, towering wall of gleaming white china that bars their onward way.
