The Woody and Wilcox Show for 6-9-25

from Woody & Wilcox

We can't believe that Woody even made it into the show today since the Tony's were on TV last night. The weird thing you had as a pet takes on new life with a woman and her puppet bat! Chelsea was carded at the store for purchasing an item that I think most of us have never been carded for. It seems random the various things that people will ask to see your ID for when buying them at the store...same goes for the things they keep behind lock and key. When things go wrong at the Self Check out, things can go VERY WRONG, including a guy who called 911. Grandma Showers...do you know what they are because they are becoming more and more of a thing. Ed the Zebra has been captured after being on the loose for a while in Tennessee, but his capture wasn't as calm as the video of him riding in that net. We do have a DIDDY UPDATE! The TSA is going to start a new TOUCHLESS way to pat you down, and Woody has his doubts about how this is going to happen. We've heard a ton of things about Ozempic and the similar drugs doing bad things to your body, but there is some good news if you're a guy! (maybe) There's been an egg recall and this isn't going to end well. What did we learn today?

John Oates - Biography Flash Inception Point Ai From his early exploration of American folk music to becoming one half of the best selling musical duo in history, John Oates’ six decade career reveals an artist always evolving. While his rhythm guitar and unforgettable backup vocals catapulted smash hits like “Maneater” and “Out of Touch”, Oates later embraced blues heritage and last name “Mississippi” roots. After being underappreciated even at Hall & Oates’ commercial peak, he’s since earned recognition as master blues/R&B collaborator and solo troubadour. This biography traces John Oates' six decade musical journey. Origins in Americana Folk & Early Partnerships Born John William Oates on April 7, 1948 in New York City, his family moved frequently due to father’s work as a contractor. After living in towns across upstate New York, Oates settled in North Wales, Pennsylvania during high school years. Finding refuge from constant relocation in music, he obsessed over folk artists like Woody Guthrie, Lead Belly, and Pete Seeger.
