Before we leave the Garden, let’s make sure that we are absolutely clear about the function of the tree of life - Ge 2:9 And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.There were two trees in the Garden, whose fruit produced two entirely different outcomes. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil, as we have seen from the experience of Adam and the Woman, produced death.
