The Word of God Can Discern the Motives of the Heart

Discernment is a gift of God.  Discernment does not discriminate by age, color, or sex.  Discernment has to do with one's vital relationship with God.  The arrogant ones cannot know the depth of spiritual insight that God gives to those who do his will.  The arrogant ones assume that they have all needed insight into the nature of things but it is merely their own convenient fiction.  God does not give spiritual wisdom and enlightenment to those who have not been transformed by Grace.
