The Word of Promise

Text: Romans 9:9-13. How does God's word of promise function with regard to God's children and to Himself? This week we are dealing with the "Doctrines of Grace" in Romans 9, which are designed to exalt God and to humble the pride of man. These are not the word of men, but the truth of God. The church in every age declines when these truths are neglected or denied, but She experiences revival when they are proclaimed and put on display for all the children of God to behold their brilliance.
