The Word Shines in the Darkness

What is Christmas all about? The apostle John answers that question by going back to the beginning, not just the beginning of Jesus’ life on earth, but back to the very beginning. In John’s introduction to the story of Jesus, we discover that Jesus is the eternal Word of God, the creator of all things, the one who has authority over all things, the giver of life, and the Light who shines in the darkness.
