What this episode covers

In this lesson, we are looking at the works of Jesus. While his whole life and ministry could be included in his saving work, we’re primarily focusing on his suffering. We’ll spend some time discussing why Jesus needed to suffer, which ties into animal sacrifices and the need for a “clean space” to be in God’s presence. We’ll also spend some time looking at the results of his suffering: 1) Death no longer has power over us. 2) Jesus is enthroned as king and universally available. 3) Jesus is coming to judge and set all things right.
