THE WORK OF THE SPIRIT

The Spirit of the living God will lead Christ’s church into victory every time the children of God obey. But a culturally driven tolerance for all manner of wickedness and sin is leaving the church powerless. We have been allowing our attempts to remain relevant to supersede simple obedience. God forgive us! We need whole- hear-ted teaching and unquestioning obedience to the Word of God! It’s complicated! We seek the work of the Spirit that only flows through clean vessels. Study to know what God is saying to you and do it: and keep doing it!JOHN PIPER:  The main business of the church is to obey the Holy Spirit in promoting God’s glory among the nations by sending out workers called by God to preach the gospel SPURGEON: WITHOUT THE SPIRIT OF GOD, WE CAN DO NOTHING, WE ARE AS SHIPS WITHOUT WIND, WE ARE USELESS.TEXT: ACTS 13:1-12SONGS:HANDS TO THE HEAVENS, KARI JOBECOME HOLY SPIRIT COME, JOSH BALDWINFALL AFRESH, BRYCE MOORESPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD, JEREMY RIDDELSEND ME, RIVER WORSHIP
