The workers at risk of being exploited by labour hire companies

A coalition of 27 organisations are calling on the New South Wales government to urgently establish a stand-alone labour hire licensing scheme. SBS's Haylena Krishnamoorthy speaks to New South Wales Anti-slavery Commissioner, Dr James Cockayne about the proposed scheme that would help protect workers — especially migrant workers — from exploitation, and stop dodgy operators entering the state's labour market.
