The World is Objectively Better

Hey everyone, it's Link Hard for another episode of Mouth Therapy and right now what I want to talk about is the world is not getting worse I was watching what I think of the Tomo Glover special and Netflix And there's a point where he talks about why his dad thought is saying that the world is getting crazier and more divided and worse and Him Donald Glover saying how it was saying in this case how it's not and I think it's It's something you could say is objectively false that the world is getting crazier That's I do think it's objectively false and I'll give an example for that the world is not becoming worse and worse and worse We have the we have the internet basically in the Let's say in the medieval ages Medieval times. I mean if you if you got attacked, let's say you got pillaged. No one gives a single crap No one would care even our 300 or 300 years ago Let's say you got robbed or anything or you experience an injustice No one would care or if people cared no one would be able to know and I think that's the objective part of The world becoming better is we have the internet as long anyone in the world as long as you have internet access right now You have a voice people can say whatever they want on Twitter on social media, especially on Twitter Everyone starts people I'm sure people have some people have more followers But when it comes to the feed or just the purest idea of the app when you scroll a box is a box a box With your ideas with your 180 200 characters or whatever that box is the same for everyone You don't get a little gold plate around your box if you have a million followers sure more people will see it But you get a voice and on all platforms like YouTube You you can make a video about whatever the hell you want you can do that You can make your voice heard no matter what and I think I think people forget that is we tend to see division Because we see information in the first place we end up saying oh the world is becoming worse But what do we do with with that information we tweet it out or we we put a video on YouTube or whatever or we text someone And we're forgetting that the very platform that we're using for communicating that message is the very objective truth of why the world is becoming better We have more communication. We are becoming more linked and we're forgetting that we're absolutely forgetting that So next time in the news when you see that something horrible has happened or that an injustice has happened Well first check the sources because they're not always very reliable But most of all remember that you're seeing that information in the first place that you can speak your mind about it And I think that's the best gift that we've received from the 21st century This is objectively the best time period to be alive
